These incredible young women are making waves in the publishing world, and it is an honor to be working with them both.
First up, meet Hope!
Hope Bolinger is a content editor at Salem Media and a multi-published novelist.
More than 1,100 of her works have been featured in various publications ranging from Writer’s Digest to Keys for Kids to HOOKED to Crosswalk.com. She writes about 250-300 articles a year.
She has worked for various publishing companies, magazines, newspapers, and literary agencies and has edited the work of authors such as Jerry B. Jenkins and Michelle Medlock Adams.
She has fourteen books under contract or out with eight different publishers. She ranges in genre from quirky middle grade to superhero YA to sweet adult romances.
She has won awards for her essays, poetry, children’s books, novels, and plays.

Next, meet Alyssa!
Alyssa Roat grew up in Tucson, Arizona, but her heart is in Great Britain. She has worked in a wide variety of roles within the publishing industry as an agent, editor, writer, and publicist and graduated from Taylor University with a B.S. in Professional Writing.
She is the publicity manager at Mountain Brook Ink and Mountain Brook Fire, a former associate literary agent at Cyle Young Literary Elite, an editor with Sherpa Editing Services, and a freelance writer with 250+ bylines in local, national, and international publications.
Alyssa is the co-author with Hope Bolinger of the YA superhero chat fiction romances the Dear Hero series, as well as the adult sweet romance Roseville Romances. On her own, she’s the author of the YA contemporary fantasy series the Wraithwood Trilogy.
