We are thrilled to announce Hodgepodge’s release date and Facebook launch party!

Hodgepodge: An Anthology by the Heartland Christian Writers officially releases Monday, December 5th, 2016, and the Facebook party is scheduled for Thursday evening, December 1st, from 7-9 p.m. EST. (Link coming soon.)

The writers featured in the anthology will be presenting the Facebook party, and the Heartland Christian Writers’ group will also be hosting a physical signing party the day of Hodgepodge’s release. (Public local book signings to come.)

Although a deviation from the speculative fiction we normally publish, we hope you enjoy these inspirational stories from writers of the Indiana heartland.

Hodgepodge: An Anthology by the Heartland Christian Writers will release November 2016 from L2L2 Publishing.

This is the second anthology released by the Heartland Christian Writers Group, but the first published through our publishing company.

A collection of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and prose, this book is truly what the title suggests: a hodgepodge of literary delight.

Heartland Christian Writers began in 2006 when Janet Hommel Mangas decided to lead a Bible study for writers based upon Marlene Bagnull’s book, Write His Answer. Joyce Long agreed to co-lead after the study ended, and this writing group has been going strong ever since. A place of refuge for writers from all walks of life, the Heartland Christian Writers’ group embraces writers at any level who wish to learn more of their craft and advance their skill.

L2L2 Publishing is pleased to bring you this anthology.

The contributing authors are Jane Bowman, Michele Israel Harper, Mary Hershberger, Nicole Jonas, Mary Kay Jones, Joyce Long, Kathy Morgan, Pati Page, Lorraine Richardson, Hannah Rollett, Linda Samaritoni, and Debbie Scales. All have attended this writers’ group for many years.

The Heartland Christian Writers meet in Greenwood, IN at Mount Pleasant Christian Church’s Community Life Center, and they welcome any writer who desires to grow. Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM.

Although a deviation of the speculative fiction we normally publish, we cannot wait to hear what you think of this inspirational collection of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and prose.
